Welcome to 8th Grade Writing! I am excited to be teaching at LEMS! I look forward to a great year where I can help my students read, write, and analyze in an ever-changing world. My goal is for every student to be confident and successful in reading and writing. I have a love for reading and writing, and I firmly believe it is extremely important!

I grew up in Kershaw County, and I graduated from the University of South Carolina where I received my bachelor's degree in Middle-Level Education specializing in English and Social Studies. My husband Benji and I have two children: Meagan and Nicholas. We have a grandson and granddaughter, and we also have several furbabies! I love Jesus, reading, helping animals (especially dogs), going to the beach, and watching my Gamecocks play!
