My Name is Bethany Hollis and I am OVERJOYED to be teaching 4th grade again this year! I am very excited about making this the BEST school year ever!
This will be my fifth year at Wateree Elementary as a 4th grade teacher! I graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education. I live in Elgin with my fiance, Jason, and a puppy named Nala.
I have known from a young age I wanted to work with children and have a positive impact on the lives of young learners. I knew making a difference to students and their education was a passion of mine. I love teaching. I feel my role as a teacher is important and strive to make learning engaging and fun for all of my students.
My primary goal as an educator is to adhere to each and every student's needs as an individual. I want every student to become the confident, successful, life-long learner I know they are. I strive to achieve this goal by creating a classroom environment that is safe and inviting. I want a close learning community and to build trusting relationships with my students. I want students to know that I genuinely care about them and want them to succeed.
