Hello, my name is Amber McCaskill, and I am excited to be a part of North Central Middle School! This will be my fourth year teaching and my first year teaching sixth grade at NCMS. I have a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Journalism from Coastal Carolina University. I was born and raised in Kershaw County and indeed from the North Central area.

Upon returning home, I married my husband, Will. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and playing fetch with my Labrador Retriever, Harley. My favorite authors are William Shakespeare, Mary Shelley, and Edgar Allan Poe. Furthermore, I am a firm believer that learning is a never- ending journey and we all have opportunities to continue to learn from one another.

I’d like to thank all my former teachers for the many lessons, the support, and the foundation in which I base the platform of my education. They all inspired me and I aspire to do the same for others!  Ultimately, as a North Central High School alumni, it is a privilege to return home to teach future alums within of our dear community!  GO PATRIOTS!
