My name is Mindy Donlon and I am so excited to be teaching at North Central Middle. I have taught for 6 years, this is my second year in Kershaw County School Distric. Before coming to Kershaw, I previously taught in Richland School District Two. My husband and I moved to Camden with our two dogs.  I am originally from Augusta, Georgia. I attended Augusta State University for my bachelors in Special Education and The University of South Carolina for my masters in severe and multiple disabilites.

In my freetime, I enjoy attending Gamecock sporting events, shopping, crafting, and going on walks with my dogs. I am passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and preparing them for real life, after school and also providing parents with resources and advice to assist their students become successful as possible.

Before teaching, I spent most of my summers working as a camp counselor at Camp Winshape and Camp Twin Lakes. I got involved with working in special education as a third grader, reading to our buddy class, and fell in love and knew I was born to be a teacher.

As my children have 4 paws, the students that I teach in my class are treated as my own children and I am excited to share them with you. I look forward to a great year with your child and you!

My favorite quote: "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." -Albert Einstein
