I've lived in Elgin with my husband for the last 25 years. We have two sons. They are 22 and (almost) 24. We also have a seven-year-old nephew that we love to get to spoil and spend time with.
Although I did not grow up in Elgin, our beautiful town is overflowing with family and has always been 'home'. Speaking of home, it's so wonderful to be back HOME here at Stover. I began my teaching career here at Stover in 1999, during the inaugural year. I absolutely loved my years at Stover and am so excited to be back.
I grew up in Clemson and spend most of my Saturdays during the fall in Death Valley cheering on my Tigers! Between sports and traveling, our weekends are busy with friends and family, but I usually have a good book in my bag.
I am overjoyed to be teaching ELA this year! Reading is my passion! I believe that all students can love reading, and that it's my job to help find literature that sparks their inner fire.
