Dr. William (Shane) Robbins is currently Superintendent of Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation in Fontville, Indiana. Prior to this post, he was Superintendent of Northwestern Consolidated School District and Monroe Central School Corporation, both in Indiana. He began his career as a science and health teacher and later served as a high school assistant principal, associate principal and principal before his first superintendent post.

May 17, 2018 - Tonight the Kershaw County School Board (KCSB) selected Dr. William (Shane) Robbins as its new superintendent to replace Dr. Frank Morgan who is retiring in June.

March 26, 2018 - The Kershaw County School Board (KCSB) voted last week to adopt a profile calling for its new superintendent to be “an instructional leader with a record of success” and an “innovative servant leader who has a student-centered focus” based on feedback from more than 200 employees, students and community members.
