1SG(R) Victor E Parish Jr. is from Ocala, Fl. He joined the Army in January of 1992 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at FT McClellan, AL to be a Military Policeman. He retired 1 July 2014 with over 22 years of military service.
As the JROTC Army Instructor at North Central High School, 1SG Parish serves on the student transition committee and Veteran’s Day committee. He is also the Color Guard and Drill Team Coach. During his career in the Army, he served as a Military Police Correctional NCO, Military Police Patrolman, Team leader, Squad leader, Platoon Sergeant, Recruiter, Station Commander, Senior Guidance Counselor, and First Sergeant. He participated in Operation Prompt Return, Operation Noble Eagle, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
1SG(R) Parish’s military and civilian education includes the US Army Military Police School, NBC School, Air Assault School, Recruiting and Retention Course, Recruiting and Retention NCOIC Course, Officer Strength Maintenance Course, MEPS Guidance Counselor Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course, Advance Noncommissioned Officers Course, and the First Sergeant Course. He has completed the Army JROTC Basic Course and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through Post University.

1SG(R) Parish resides in Camden, SC with his wife, Kim. They have four children, Faith, Tori, Jay and Natalia and two granddaughters, Hunter and Desiree
