Hi! My name is Gwen Tucker and I am a Speech Language Therapist and Special Education Teacher of the Visually Impaired.  I have been in education for 17 years and I have been a Speech Therapist for 14 of those years. This is my seventh year back in Kershaw County School District and my second year at Midway Elementary. I graduated from South Carolina State University with a bachelor’s in Speech Pathology and Audiology and the University of South Carolina- Upstate with a Master of Education- Special Education- Visual Impairments.  I am currently taking courses to become a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the blind or visually impaired. I live in Lugoff with my husband and three children and we have one dog named, Bandit. I look forward to working with the children at Midway Elementary and to having a wonderful and successful school year!
