Welcome to Reading Intervention!!

I am thrilled to be the Reading Interventionist at Camden Elementary this year and look forward to a wonderful school year! I was born and raised in Camden and even attended school right here at Camden Elementary! I am a proud graduate of Presbyterian College (Go Blue Hose!) with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. I also earned a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading from Lesley University. I began my career teaching 2nd grade at Shaw Heights Elementary in Sumter and then teaching 1st and 2nd grades at Forest Lake Elementary in Columbia. After living in Columbia for a few years, my husband, Kyle and I moved back home to Camden and I began teaching at CES in 2008. We have two wonderful daughters, Liz and Ellie, who bring us tremendous amounts of joy! I am passionate about teaching and look forward to a fantastic year in Reading Intervention!
