Mr. Jonathan ("Jon") Blevins
This is my third year teaching at Lugoff-Elgin High School. My content areas include World History, U.S. Government, and Economics. In addition to teaching, I am the boys varsity tennis coach and Key Club advisor. Before coming to LEHS, I instructed undergraduates in business law at the University of South Carolina. I hold degrees from the College of William & Mary (Bachelor of Arts in History), Drexel University (Master of Science in Sport Management), and Mississippi College School of Law (Doctor of Jurisprudence). My wife Mary is a nationally licensed professional counselor. We have a yellow Labrador retriever named Solomon and a cat named Phoebe. In my spare time, I enjoy serving as an officer in the Porsche Club of America (PCA) for the Three Rivers Region. Other interests include boating and jet-skiing on local lakes, golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events.
