We are already preparing for the new school year for our youngest learners, and we need your help!  If you have a child that meets the age requirements, we want to get him/her pre-registered for pre-kindergarten in February.  This allows us to plan for the best year possible for your child by ensuring we have all of our staff and resources in place.

4-Year-Old Kindergarten:

• 4 years old on or before September 1, 2023. 

NEW 5-Year-Old Kindergarten:

• 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023.
• Not currently enrolled in KCSD 4K

The Kindergarten Round-Up online form will open on February 1.  You will be able to upload your required documents through this online process. We will also have a help day for our families who need assistance with this process.  (The live online form links are at the bottom of this page.)

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 3 - 6 p.m.
Location: Child’s zoned school - Visit www.kcsdschools.net/zoning to locate your child’s zoned school (based on your home address.)

All of the following documents are needed by all families to register.  For details on what is needed or how to locate them, visit www.kcsdschools.net/new.

Residency Verification:

1. Photo Identification
2. Vehicle Document
3. Financial Source Document
4. Residence Document
5. Recent Utility Bill

Child's Documentation:

• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Record
• Medicaid card (if applicable)
• SNAP acceptance letter (if applicable)

You will have the opportunity to upload a copy of each document into the online registration.  If you are not able to upload the documents, you will need to present them to your child's school.

Tips for uploading documents:

• Each document needs to be an individual file.
• You can take photographs or digitally scan each document.
