I am originally from the Chicago area but have called South Carolina my home for the past 10 years.  I am the proud mom of my daughter Danielle and my fur babies; Jimmy Hendrix (my cat), Macie (my black lab), Princess and Sammi (my chihuahuah's).  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University, and a Master of Arts in Education from University of Phoenix and I am currently attending University of South Carolina for another Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration. I have been a special education teacher for the past 17 years, both here in Columbia, South Carolina and in Los Angeles, California.  Before becoming a special education teacher, I taught in the resource reading lab, kindergarten and sixth grade.    I also proudly serviced in the United States NAVY for 10 years.  I can't wait to meet my students!!!
