Mrs. Jacqueline Deas

Jacqueline "Jackie" Escalante Deas was born in Maryland and grew on Virginia's eastern shore. Mrs. Deas is not the typical School Counselor and Educator.   She has worked with students and programs ranging from Head Start through college.  Her experience in education includes 15+ years in the following capacities: Guidance Counselor, Director of Special Academic Services (Disabilities Dept), College Instructor, and  Trainer / Presenter.  She has partnered with Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft and presented at their DigiGirlz STEM conference.  She has also partnered with local corporations to sponsor programs for women and families in need. When she works with students, she empowers them to be successful.  Jackie's goal is to help students and individuals evolve.  She is an expert in teaching students how to rise above their current reality and tap into their personal power.

Mrs. Deas believes that students are more than their grades and that they must be groomed to successful and evolve in every area of LIFE.  Her programs and resources for students address the social, emotional, and vocational success of students. She is the author of The Empowered & Enlightened Teen.

Jackie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Education degree from Bowie University, Bowie, Maryland and graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology (at Alliant International University) in San Diego, CA.

Mrs. Deas and her husband live in Richland County. They are the proud parents of one tween.
