Mr. Tarrence McGovern is beginning his seventh year in Kershaw County and his 26th year in education. Before coming to Kershaw in 2014, Mr. McGovern spent 19 years as a special education teacher, assistant principal, special education consultant, and Education Associate at the South Carolina Department of Education in the Office of Special Education Services.  He holds a B.A. degree in Special Education from Clemson University and M.Ed. degrees in Special Education and Education Administration from the University of South Carolina.
