Mr. Timothy L. Hopkins

Mr. Tim Hopkins is in his 28th year in the Kershaw County School District.  He has served as a principal in Richland School District Two as well as in Kershaw County, and currently has direct responsibility for all of the district's teaching and learning programs.  During his time in Kershaw County, he has served in many different district level capacities contributing to many of the successes of the school district over the last two decades.  During this time, 3 district schools have won the coveted Palmetto's Finest designation, while two others have been recognized nationally for outstanding student achievement.  Tim is a past recipient of the national Federal Programs Administrator of the Year Award and Past President of the South Carolina Association of Title One Administrators (SCATA).
