The theme for KCSD this year pertains to change and, for me, it's very fitting both professionally and personally. Our District has a new Superintendent and quite a few new faces in a variety of other positions throughout our schools. On the personal side, I lost my husband to cancer at the end of the last school year and that has brought an abundance of change to my doorstep. But change isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, quite often it is through change that we find new or better ways of doing things, meet new people, and embark on new adventures. Along that line, I am very happy to have been instrumental in adding a dual enrollment facet to the Early Childhood program in our District that will kick off with the new school year. Change is exciting and this particular change is very exciting! As we navigate new waters together, I ask that you please contact me if you have any concerns, want more information, or just want to touch base. For my part, I will strive to keep each family updated on our progress and contact you timely should I require your assistance. It has always been and continues to be my desire that each student leaves the Early Childhood Education program armed with the tools they need to be successful and the desire to make a difference in the lives of the youngest members of our society...our children. Here's to an AWESOME year!
