I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from Winthrop College, I began teaching in Chesterfield County. In 2003, I made the move to North Central Middle School here in Kershaw County. I have had the opportunity to teach 8th grade ELA, SC History, and Writing, 7th grade Reading as well as Reading for the New Horizon students. Currently, I am teaching 8th grade ELA.
On a personal note, I am married to Michael Hunter of Kershaw. We have two daughters and three granddaughters.
My husband and I enjoy camping and fishing. I love taking pictures of my family and creating beautiful scrapbooks of family activities.
I love to teach and look forward to each year and the adventures it brings.
