Hi! I am Jodie Kahler, and I LOVE MY JOB! I teach 8th grade English I, 6th grade Reading Lab, and ProTeam, the middle school version of Teacher Cadet. I have a bachelor's degree in English from USC and a master's degree in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion. This is my 21st year teaching, and proudly, I have spent each of those years in room 804 at NCMS! I am certified and highly qualified in English and Middle Level Language Arts. I LOVE to read, and I hope to inspire my students to become life-long readers too! 

I am the proud mother of Todd and Whitley, and they both attended Kershaw County schools. Todd is a graduate of Clemson University, and Whitley is a graduate student at North Greenville University, where she is also a member of the NGU volleyball team. My husband Eric and I were born and raised in this community, and it is an honor to be able to give back to the place that has given us so much.
