I am a proud product of South Carolina public schools and universities. I received my excellent education through Lancaster County School District, Winthrop University, and the University of South Carolina.  Using this education, I taught English in two South Carolina school districts (Richland 2 and Lexington/Richland School District 5), functioned as the at-risk coordinator (SAIL) at Chapin High School, and became an Assistant Principal at Camden High School in 2010. Now, I am blessed and excited to be the proud principal of the best ole high school anywhere! During the past 9 years, we have practiced our “Commitment to Excellence,” and we will continue to excel. In addition to being a certified Google Educator, I am a SREB Literacy Design Collaborative local trainer and an ASCD Emerging Leader. I am married to Craig, who is the Special Services Coordinator for Richland School District 2.  We have three children- Lainey (13), who is a student at Camden Middle School, Camy (7), who is a student at Camden Elementary School, and Colton (2).

Mr. Accie Collins

I received my B.S. degree from Newberry College in 1981.  I completed my Master’s Degree from Capella University in 2010 and received my administrative certification shortly thereafter.

I began my teaching career with Kershaw County School District in the summer of 1998 at Camden High as a Physical Education/Health instructor, assistant varsity football coach and Head JV Boy’ basketball coach.  I became an assistant principal in June of 2012. I am thrilled to be working with our teachers, staff and student body in the capacity of assistant principal for the 11th grade.

I am a firm believer in the notion that with time, patience, understanding, commitment, dedication and hard work all students have the capacity to learn and reach their full potential in life. I look forward to continuing with this process in our commitment to Bulldog Excellence.

Mrs. Tarolyn Lee

I am excited to start my second year as Assistant Principal at Camden High School.  I am committed to creating a culture that is postively contagious.  I will be consistent, communicate, connect, and care.  I am proud to be a part of KCSD:  One Team, One Mission, ONE GOAL

I worked at Stover Middle School for five years as an Assistant Administrator, writing teacher, and reading interventionist.  I grew up in Greenville, MS and earned a Bachelor's of Business degree in Business Administration.  After working for FEDEX in Houston, TX for 17.5 in various customer service and service assurance positions, I pursued my passion to teach.  I began teaching in 2003-2004 and received my teacher's certification from Region IV Educational Services.  I taught 5th and 7th grade in Spring Independent School District my first three years of teaching. After residing in Houston for 22 years, I moved to South Carolina in 2006 due to my spouse's corporate move. I taught in Richland School District Two at three different middle schools where I held various leadership positions and was afforded the opportunity to experience opening two new middle schools. In 2010, I earned a Master's Degree in School Leadership with secondary principal certification and 2011 an Ed. S. in Educational Leadership with elementary principal certification.

I have been happily married for 30 years and have three amazing children, a twenty-six-year-old son who's pursuing his passion of playing professional basketball overseas, a twenty-two-year-old daughter who is an RN in a residency program in Houston, TX, and a twenty-one-year-old daughter, elementary education major, at the University of South Carolina.  In my spare time,  I enjoy listenting to gospel music, traveling, shopping and reading.  I love serving our families, students, and staff at Camden High, a school committed to excellence!
