Hi! I'm the multi-categorical self contained teacher for grades 3-5 at North Central Elementary. I graduated from Andrew Jackson High School (1993), B.A. in Sociology; Furman University (summa cum laude, 1997), MAT (ED/LD) USC 2002. I am both SRA and Orton Gillingham trained. Before returning to graduate school, I worked in halfway houses in NYC, and a group home for men with disabilities. While in graduate school, I worked as an ABA therapy assistant. I started my teaching career in Anderson School District 5. I have worked in inclusion, resource, and self contained settings. This is my seventh year in Kershaw County and I am excited about the new school and the new school year!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 kids. I also enjoy cooking, yoga, and swimming.
