I am a product of the Kershaw County School District, and a native of Bethune, SC, where I graduated high school in 1997. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC in 2000. I recently completed my certification to teach English Language Learners from the University of South Carolina. I have also taught at Dewey L. Carter Elementary and Bethune Elementary. My teaching experience ranges from 2nd - 5th grade.
This is my 19th year teaching and my 18th year in Kershaw County. I love being an ESOL teacher in our district. I will be serving students at Bethune Elementary, Midway Elementary, North Central Middle School and North Central High School.
I live in Lugoff, SC with my teenage son and our yorkie-poo Roxy!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoys cooking, reading and spending time traveling when I can! Some of my favorite places to visit are the Charleston area and Asheville, NC. Visiting new beaches is probably my favorite thing to do in my spare time.
