Mr. Austin McCaskill is a native of Lugoff, SC.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC in 2011. He has also received his Gifted and Talented endorsement from Winthrop University, and His Read to Succeed Endorcement from the SC Department of Education.  Mr. McCaskill has also taught at West Lee Elementary in Rembert, SC.  This is his eleventh year teaching, first in 4th grade, and has taught from 2nd - 5th grade.

He lives in Lugoff, SC with his wife Amber, son AJ, nephew Alex, and dog Aster!

Outside of school, Mr. McCaskill is a coach at Camden Middle School and Camden High School, and loves The University of South Carolina!  He also enjoys rebuilding houses and spending time traveling with family and friends!  During baseball season, you can also find him helping players at the Kershaw County Recreation Department baseball fields.
