Camden is home for me and I love working in the community where I grew up.  I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University, a Masters Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Cambridge College.  This is my 21st year in education and I have loved every moment of it.  My experiences include teaching 3rd - 7th grade, teacher of the gifted and talented, curriculum coach, assistant principal, and principal of Jackson School for 8 years.  I am excited to return to Camden Elementary School and serve as your principal for the 2019 - 2020 school year.

I believe that Together Everyone Achieves More!  This school year, we will all work together as a TEAM and make sure all of our students continue "Galloping to Greatness"!

On a personal note, I am married to Bryce Goodwin and we have two children, Landon and Alyson.

Mrs. Beth White

I am so excited to begin my 2nd year as Assistant Principal here at Camden Elementary School! I began my career in education in 2006 after graduating from the University of South Carolina-Upstate with my bachelors in Elementary Education. In 2009, I earned a Master’s degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, and in 2016 I earned a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University. This will be my 14th year in education and I have loved every minute of it!

Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal, I taught 5th grade for 2 years and 2nd grade for 10 years in both Lexington Two and Richland School District Two. My husband, Jeramy and I have a beautiful daughter, Harper and a sweet Chocolate Lab, Jake. I believe that through communication and a positive environment, all students can reach their full potential. I look forward to working with each and every one of you as we go through your child’s educational journey this school year.
