I am so excited to be teaching your kindergartener this year! With all the challenges we have faced the past few years, I feel my calling is even more important as we embark on this journey together of preparing your child for first grade! I love teaching students the foundational skills required to read, a skill they will need for the rest of their lives. I strive to keep learning fun by engaging your child in mastering concepts through active learning, and many wiggle breaks! This is my 12th year in the classroom and fourth year teaching kindergarten at DME! I have previously taught 3K and first grade for six years. 

My husband and I live in Lugoff and we have a two year old daughter named Vayda. Our three dogs keep us all busy, but in my free time I enjoy running, swimming, reading and visiting the mountains!
