Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We will learn many new things this year. I am looking forward to us as parent, student, and teacher working together to make this a successful school year. I take pride in maintaining a a healthy, positive parent-teacher relationship to ensure that your child will have a successful yet fun 5th grade year.
I grew up in Kerhsaw County and attended the Camden area schools. It has been an honor to be able to return to this district to teach. I currently reside in Lugoff with my husband, Ray and our almost 17-year-old daughter Abigail.
I am a graduate of Coker College where I earned my BA in Elementary Education. This is my 23rd year of teaching. I serve on several Doby's Mill committees. I am a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Education Sorority. I was selected as the 2005 DMES Reading Teacher of the Year. I was honored as a Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2005. I was the 2014 Doby's Mill Teacher of the Year and a 2015 Kershaw County Honor Roll Teacher of the Year.
I am looking forward to working with each of you this year. Please fee to contact me at anytime!
