Welcome! My name is Mrs. Dixon and I am a second grade teacher here at Doby's Mill Elementary School. I am so excited to be starting my 12th year of teaching! I taught four years at Blaney Elementary and this is my eighth year at Doby's Mill Elementary. I have taught first, second, and third grade. I graduated from The University of South Carolina Upstate in May of 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2009, I went back to school and earned my Master's Degree in General Education from Southern Wesleyan University. I was named the Teacher of the Year for Doby's Mill Elementary in 2015. I am also the archery coach for our school. Last year, our team finished 7th in the state!

Teaching has always been my passion and I knew from a very young age this was what I wanted to do.
