My name is Mary Catoe. I am the Reading Interventionist at Doby's Mill Elementary.  I love sharing my passion to read with my young readers and watching them grow in confidence and fluency as their reading ability develops.   I graduated from Winthrop University with a BS in Elementary Education in 2003.  In 2005, I graduated from Francis Marion with a Masters in Instructional Accommodations.  In 2010, I received National Board certification.  From 2003-2005, I taught in the district's Gifted and Talented program and then in 2005, began teaching at Doby's Mill Elementary.  

I am a Thinking Maps Trained Trainer, as well as a Thinking Maps: Response to Text Trained Trainer.

I live in Lugoff with my husband, daughter, and 2 sons.  I am an active member of Lugoff First Baptist.  I love spending time with my family, reading, and vacationing.
