Mrs. Jennifer Manuel

Hello Everyone, I am Jennifer Manuel, the art teacher at Jackson School. 2021 is my 20th year teaching, and I have been teaching at Jackson for 16 years. I went to college at USC to get my art education degree.  I am able to teach Kindergarten all the way through high school level.  I enjoy working with the younger group the most.  My favorite type of art to do is painting, but I feel that I have every aspect of art is in my spectrum.  I have two children, Robbie who is 15 and Brittany who is 24, and just had my first grand baby, Briella.  My family and I have 1 dogs, and 2 cats.  I am definitely an animal lover.  When I have my own quiet time I like to read.  I also love to cook and go grocery shopping, which is weird.  I am an eccletic sort when it comes to earrings.  I love to wear funky earrings to school to promote conversation and creativeness.  These are always the students favorites of interest.  I love art and I love teaching at Jackson school.  I am dedicated to helping each student find their creative side and enjoy art at some aspect.  I also continue to integrate other subject matter to my art lessons to accentuate their classroom lessons and complete the whole child.
