Hello! My name is (Margaret) Katherine Gaskins. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to educate and love our Midway Bobcats! This is my  ninth year teaching in Kershaw County. I taught fourth grade for five years at Jackson School before moving to Midway Elementary to teach fifth grade. During the 2014-2015 school year, I was honored with the award of Outstanding First Year Teacher for Kershaw County School District. I am looking forward to another fantastic school year in 2022-2023.  I received my BA in elementary education from the University of South Carolina. I have also earned my Read to Succeed endorsement. I am from Bishopville, SC, and now live in McBee. My husband Will and I spend our time chasing after, reading to, and playing with our daughters Sydney Celeste (5 years old) and Allie (2 years old). My family enjoys cheering for the Gamecocks, taking care of our chickens, and being involved at our church. I am excited to see our growth in fifth grade this year!!
