Mrs. Amber Pitts
Mrs. Pitts is a certified K-12 Music Specialist with a B.M.E. from Newberry College. This is her tenth year teaching in Kershaw County. She is excited to see what this year has in store for The North Central Elementary! Let's play, dance, and sing our way through a fantastic year!
Weekly homework in music class will not be assigned unless it is noted in Canvas via the Virtual Music Room. Through the use of our online curriculum Quaver's Marvelous World of Music, assignments may be given during class and may need to be completed at home if not finished during class time. Quaver will be utilized for elearning days and weekly in class. Please visit the Canvas Music Room for more information and links.
It is always good to sing and play instruments if they are available at home. You can use traditional instruments or create your own using "found sounds." Visit the Canvas Music Room for more ideas on how to incorporate music at home!
