Welcome back to a wonderful year of learning.  We will continue our year on a journey of creating, exploring, and investigating.  

As a graduate of Erskine College with a Masters of Education in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina, this will be my thirty-fifth year of teaching. I have been at Blaney for the last 19 years and I love the family atmosphere that you will find here.   I am a National Board Certified teacher in the area of Middle Childhood Generalist, and I have a Literacy Endorsement through the Read 2 Succeed framework.  Learning new things is extraordinary!  I am eager for the challenge that awaits us each day as we strive to  become a little more knowledgeable about our world and the positive mark that we can make on each other!

 My husband is a high school PE teacher/football coach.   We have three college-aged children, a grand-daughter and many pets.  We live in Camden and are constantly on the go with a variety of activities.  Sitting with a good book on a warm, sandy beach is the ultimate relaxing activity.
