This is my twenty-fifth year in education. As a classroom teacher, I taught first, second, third, and fifth grades. I have always loved to read, so I decided to pursue a masters degree in Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. I have been in the library since 2009 and believe I have the best job in the world. I enjoy being able to match a student up with the "perfect" book and hopefully ignite the "Reading Frenzy" from within that student. 

I am married to Raymond Watkins, who is a professor at Central Carolina Technical College. He currently teaches English, Spanish, Public Speaking, Religion, Philosophy, and Psychology. We love to travel and find new adventures.
