Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! This is my fifteenth year at Stover Middle School. I absolutely adore the Elgin community and love teaching 6^th grade math.  

After graduating college, I taught 4 year old kindergarten for a year, 5^th grade for 5 years, and Gifted and Talented for 7 years in Fairfield County. I taught 7^th grade for 5 years at Stover. This year is my 10^th year teaching 6^th grade at Stover. So I have almost 28 years under my belt!

I have 3 wonderful children. Maddie Grace is an 8th grader at Stover Middle School, Regan is a 10th grader at L-E High School and Cooper (22). I also have 2 amazing cats.

I graduated high school from Richard Winn Academy in Winnsboro, SC and earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Columbia College in Columbia, SC. In 1998 I earned my graduate degree in Elementary Education from Cambridge College in Boston, MA, with 30+ hours immediately following. In 2004 after attending Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC for school administration, I became licensed through the SC State Department of Education in Elementary and Secondary Administration and Leadership.

I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets, as well as hanging out at the beach.
