Michelle Crane

I am a special education teacher starting my nineteenth year of teaching. I have been a special education teacher all over Kershaw County. I spent 5 years at North Central High School, 1 year at North Central Middle School, 1 year at The Continuous Learning Center, 1/2 year at the District Office in Special Services as a Transition Coordinator, 7 1/2 years at Lugoff Elgin High School, 2 years at Camden Elementary School, and now, I'm proudly back at my Alma Mater, Camden High School, for my second year.

I have my BS in Sociology from The College of Charleston, my Masters of Arts in Teaching in Learning Disabilities from Frances Marion University, my Education Specialist in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University. I am in the dissertation phase of my PhD in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University at this time. My dissertation is concentrating on the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a successful school social media campaign to communicate with stakeholders of the school (parents, students, community members, administrators, faculty, and staff) and to brand the school in a positive manner.

I am a long time resident of Camden and a proud graduate of Camden High School. My three boys are Camden Middle School Eagles and a Camden High Bulldog.

My after school hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 3:15 to 4:15

My planning time: daily 8:00 - 9:30
