Hello.  My name is Eric Cooper and i teach Social Studies here at Lugoff-Elgin High. I have been back at Lugoff-Elgin since 2014 and am entering my 26th year in education.  I graduated from LE in 1984.  I received my B.A. and M.A.T. from the University of South Carolina in 1990 and 1993 respectively.  I also played on the Gamecock football team under coach Joe Morrisson from 1984-1987.

I am married to the former Robin Mowery (my high school sweety!) since 1998 and we are the proud parents of two wonderful children who also graduated from LE.
