This is my 24th year teaching high school and my 18th year at Lugoff-Elgin High School. I previously taught at Union Comprehensive High School in Union, South Carolina. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Columbia College and 4 years of graduate work in Chemistry at Clemson University. I also have an MAT in Science Teaching - Secondary Physics from WGU and I am currently working on a Master of Science in Chemistry with a focus on education. During my time working on a Ph.D. in Chemistry, I realized that teaching was my passion and I am grateful that I made the decision to become a high school science teacher. I love working with teenagers and sharing my love of chemistry and physics with them!
Two of my favorite things are LEHS Volleyball (I am the bookkeeper) and Atlanta Braves baseball! I also love to crochet, play puzzle games, and love on my three dogs.
