Hello!
My name is Angie Lawson and I am the general music teacher here at Pine Tree Hill. This will be my twenty-fourth year of teaching music at Pine Tree Hill! I have also taught music at Mt. Pisgah Elementary, Midway Elementary, Baron DeKalb Elementary, and Stover here in Kershaw County. Before coming to Kershaw county, I taught general music in Marion, South Carolina and Greenwood, South Carolina.

I am a proud graduate of Laurens High School located in Laurens, South Carolina. Go Raiders! I graduated with my Bachelor's of Music degree from Columbia College in 1991 and finished up my Master's Degree in Instructional Accommodations for Students with Disabilities from Francis Marion University in 2019. I married my college sweetheart, Derek, in 1995. We have one son, Garrett, who is currently a senior at the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!

While I am passionate about music and Arts Education, I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family. One of our favorite activities as a family is spending time out on Lake Wateree!
