Mrs. Dianne Farlett

I am very excited to be back in the first grade classroom! I have always loved teaching first grade, and this will be my 10th year teaching this wonderful age group! This is my 4th year here at PTH, but I have taught in many different schools over the years, including some in Arizona and Kansas and a few in Germany. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. Being an army wife, I have always followed my husband to where he was stationed. He is now retired from the Army, and we are enjoying life here in the Lugoff/Camden area. I have four children, one who is still at home. Curtis is a junior at LE High, and Caroline is a freshman at Furman University this year. Johnmark is beginning his 2nd year of medical school at the University of South Carolina here in Columbia. We are very excited to have him close to home for awhile. Jennifer is my oldest daughter and is still living in Arizona.

I enjoy reading, stitchery, and being with my family. I am an active member of the Faith Nazarene church in Lugoff and the West Point Parents Club.  This fall you can find me cheering on the LE Boys Cross Country team! In the spring I will be found cheering on the LE Track and Field team.

This year will be an amazing year in first grade, and I look forward to working with my amazing group of first graders.
