I would like to welcome everyone to Sixth Grade Social Studies for the 2022-2023 school year!  This is my 20th year of teaching, in which all of them have been at LEMS.  In addition, I serve as the Athletic Director at LE Middle, as well as the Head Varsity Wrestling Coach at LE High.  I graduated high school in 1988 from Belton-Honea Path High School, which is located in the upstate of South Carolina.  After serving seven years in the United States Navy, as well as working for a family business, I received a B.A. in Secondary Education from Anderson College in 2002.  Since then, I have also received a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.  I have been married to my wonderful wife, Tilara, for seventeen years.  We have two children, Catie and Kyle, as well as three wonderful dogs.  I look forward to the opportunity of teaching your child in the upcoming year!
