My district-issued device is not working correctly. What do I need to do to get it repaired?
Please contact your school's Tech Contact, who will submit a work order for repair by your school's computer technician. If you are a district employee, please contact the NOCC Help Line at x6622 or email nocc@kcsdschools.net.
My name has changed; how do I change my email address and network login?
All name change requests must be submitted to the Benefits Office. Once the Benefits Office processes the request, they will alert the Technology Office regarding the changes that need to be made to all your district accounts (for example: network, email, PowerSchool, BlackBoard, etc).
How do I purchase a new device for my classroom or school?
All technology device purchases need to be approved through the Technology Department to ensure that they meet or exceed district technology standards, and to ensure that our technicians can support their usage and repair. Please contact Dianne James to request quotes for all technology devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, interactive white boards, e-readers, etc.)
I am writing a grant that will include technology. Is there anything I need to do in advance?
All technology device purchases need to be approved through the Technology Department to ensure that they meet or exceed district technology standards, and to ensure that our technicians can support their usage and repair. We want to ensure that the device(s) you want to purchase with your grant will still be available for the price you anticipate once the grant is awarded. How do I change my name or voicemail message on my classroom or office phone?

Who do I contact if I do not know my phone's PIN number or am having other district phone issues.
Contact Robert McDaniel (email robert.mcdaniel@kcsdschools.net or call 803-432-8416, ext. 1290) with your name, phone extension, school or office location, and an explanation of the phone issue. Mr. McDaniel handles all phone issues, so inquiries need to be directed to him.
I would like to set my personal cell phone to access my district email. What would I need to do?
While we can't assist employees with personal devices, we can provide this information to assist you. The district email server address is http://kcsdschools.net, the domain is kershaw, and your username and password will be your network login. This information should help staff at your local phone service provider to assist you.
