Safety Procedures for Extracurricular Activities

KCSD Clear Bag Policy

As an increased safety measure, KCSD has clear bag procedures in place for middle and high school extracurricular activities.

Under these guidelines, persons can use clear tote bags no bigger than 12x6x12 inches or a clear plastic bag no larger than a gallon size to carry items into extracurricular activities.

Under the new guidelines, persons can use clear tote bags no bigger than 12x6x12 inches or a clear plastic bag no larger than a gallon size to carry items into extracurricular activities.  Keys, wallets, phones, credit cards and cash may be carried in a pocket or in hand. Medically necessary items will be able to be brought in after proper inspection at the gates. 
Visitors can also bring seat cushions that do not have pockets, zippered pockets, compartments or covers. Umbrellas and clear rain ponchos are also acceptable as well as small clutches that are no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
