Child Find Screening Clinics

Child Find Screening Clinics

Kershaw County School District has procedures in place to identify, locate, and evaluate children ages 3 to 21 residing in the district who are suspected of having a disability and may be in need of special education services. This includes children who attend private schools; those who are highly mobile, including migrant or homeless; and those who are wards of the State. Each month the Office of Special Services holds developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 whose parent or legal guardian suspects a disability and who are not currently enrolled in a KCSD public school.   Parents or legal guardians may contact the Child Find office at 803-425-8925 (option #2) to schedule a screening appointment.   Child Find Screening Clinics will be held at the Child Find office at the Continuous Learning Center (CLC) located at 1109 Campbell St in Camden.
