Arts Gifted and Talented Screening Process
Arts Gifted and Talented Process and Dates
Artistically gifted and talented students display talent or high-performance abilities beyond those of their peers in music, dance, theatre, or visual art.
Students are nominated by their teachers and parents to be screened for the Artistically Gifted and Talented Programs, between December and February. Students are then screened by professional artists within their gifted area of music, dance, theatre, or visual art. Qualified students are invited to attend the spring/summer KCSD Arts Gifted and Talented programs.
The KCSD Arts Gifted programs are housed at the
Arts Center of Kershaw County
