Canvas is a web-based learning management system or LMS. It is used by learning institutions, educators, and students to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate about skill development and learning achievement.

In other words, Canvas is a one-stop shop for all course content and interaction including student grades, assignments and feedback.

KCSD families use Canvas to check students’ daily assignments and grades.

The first step for a parent who wants to access his/her student’s information in Canvas is to create an account and obtain a pairing code.
