BS in early childhood and elementary education from the College of Charleston (1985) MEd in educational administration from University of South Carolina (1991) Certification in learning disabilities course work obtained from Francis Marion University (1989)

Mrs. Lisa Carter

Lisa has lived and worked in Kershaw County since 1996.

Prior to moving to Kershaw County, she lived and worked in Charleston County, Williamsburg County and Florence County.

With her degrees in early childhood, elementary, special education and adminsitration, she has worked in a variety of roles. She has taught regular education grades kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th; special education resource K-5th grades, 6th-8th grades and special education self contained 6th-8th grades; has been an assistant principal and principal at an elementary school.

Her current role, as Coordinator for Special Services, allows her to take her vast and varied experiences and use them to support the special education staff and students across KCSD.

As Lisa enters her 31st year in education, she challenges herself to continue to learn and grow to meet the ever changing world of education.
