This will be my 6th year at Jackson School as the Assistant Principal and my 23rd year as an educator.  Originally from Camden, SC, I am a graduate of Camden High School, Furman University (B.A. in History), and Converse College (M.Ed. in Secondary Education & Ed.S. in Elementary/Secondary Administration).  I have taught social studies for five years in high school, 10 years in middle school and 2 years overseas in an elementary/middle international school.  I have also coached middle, JV and varsity volleyball, basketball and softball.  I have been married to my husband Chris for 19 years, and we have two children:  Sarah, who is a junior at LEHS, and Seth, who is a 6th grader at Lugoff-Elgin Middle School.  I am so excited for the 2017-18 school year to begin and live our mission to LEAD, Encourage, Achieve, and Dream!
