Google Classroom For Students
Google Classroom is used by teachers to share assignments, class information, and updates with students and parents. Students use this platform to submit work and receive feedback from teachers about their progress in the class.
When logged into Google Classroom, students see all their classes on the dashboard. If a student needs to add a new class, they should contact their teacher for the classroom code.
Below you will find a student navigation slide presentation & tutorial video.
- Classroom stream in which teachers can post important announcements; students may also utilize the stream at the teacher's discretion (can be turned on and off in class settings)
- Classwork tab in which teachers can organize classroom materials and assignments in a format that makes sense to both the teachers and students. Students submit assignments beneath this tab and teachers view and offer feedback to students via comments or annotations on student work.
- People tab in which students can see their classmates & teachers.
