IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED FOR SCHOOL
South Carolina immunization laws require all students entering 7th grade be immunized with a tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine booster called TDAP after their 7th birthday.
If your child has not had this vaccine, please contact your health care provider and make arrangements to get the vaccine. If your child has had this vaccine, please send an updated immunization record to the school nurse.
For a DHEC Immunization clinic through our local Health Department, you can visit www.scdhec.gov/health/vaccinations or call 1-855-472-3432 for an appointment.
If you have questions or concerns regarding immunizations for school, you may also contact our school nurse, Sarah Freeman, RN, by email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone, 803-425-8975, Ext: 4014.
