Mrs. Emily Baccomo

Welcome! My name is Emily Baccomo, and I am BET's new Wild Kitten librarian. This is my 9th year in education, and I am so excited about this school year.

Here's a little information about me. I am originally from Winnsboro, S.C., just a hop, skip, and a jump on the other side of Lake Wateree in Fairfield County. In 2009, I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I returned to Winnsboro, where I taught 4th through 6th grade, mostly math and science. In 2012, I graduated from Columbia College where I received my Master's degree in Divergent Learning. Presently, I am enrolled at the University of South Carolina where I am completing my second masters in library and information science.  I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I enjoy discovering new things, especially in technology, to share with my students and colleagues.

I currently live in Lugoff with my husband and our 3-year-old son, Jay, and our new baby boy, Ben.  We have 2 dachshunds, named Oscar and Lilly. When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, working on vinyl projects, and cheering on my Clemson Tigers!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you find the resources listed useful!
