The Kershaw County School District began implementing clear bag procedures on December 1, 2019 for middle and high school extracurricular activities as an added safety measure.
Under the guidelines, persons can use clear tote bags no bigger than 12x6x12 inches or a clear plastic bag no larger than a gallon size to carry items into extracurricular activities. Keys, wallets, phones, credit cards and cash may be carried in a pocket or in hand. Medically necessary items will be able to be brought in after proper inspection at the gates.
Visitors can also bring seat cushions that do not have pockets, zippered pockets, compartments or covers. Umbrellas and clear rain ponchos are also acceptable as well as small clutches that are no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches.

Commitment to Excellence
"Our mission is to provide an environment where students feel inspired to become active, successful, productive, and confident members of society."
Camden High School students and staff are committed to excellence in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.
"Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of intentions, and the actions which speak louder than the words. It is making the time when there is none...coming through time after time after time, year after year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of, the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism."
